Fact Sheet for Mounting and Framing for Exhibition
Framed Work |
- It is essential that fittings are large enough to take the hooks on the hanging system belonging to the Club. The inside measurement of the D rings must be at least 13mm (1/2 inch) in diameter.
- The D rings require to be positioned one-third down from the top of the frame. If this measurement is not accurate, the painting hangs at the wrong angle.

- Two labels must be attached to the back of each painting; one stuck on and the other tied to string. Information on the tied label is required as a check after the painting has been hung and numbered for the Exhibition. This label is then removed.

*Label tied image (name/title/medium/price)
- Frameless/Box canvasses must have the same fittings and labelling applied as framed work.
- No clip frames will be accepted.
