The club held its first exhibition in 1975.  Since then each year has seen an annual exhibition of members works held in mid summer in the Town Hall, Stonehaven.  Every year has seen a wide variety of artworks submitted by members demonstrating their talents in oils, acrylics, watercolour and many other mediums.  The week long exhibition draws visitors from the local area as well as tourists who happen to be in NE Scotland at the time.  Over the years, tens of thousands of art lovers have visited the annual exhibition.

During the Exhibition thirteen awards are given:

The club are grateful to the many local businesses that have given these awards.  Their support for the exhibition is highly valued.

Since March 2012 the Club has paintings on  permanent exhibition in the Reception area of Peterculter Medical Centre and since October 2015 in the Albyn Medical Practice in Aberdeen.

For 2020, things were a little different.  Firstly, the Town Hall was undergoing renovations so an alternative venue had to be found.  Before this could be secured, the COVID-19 outbreak occurred with the associated restrictions on public events and social distancing.   The COVID-19 outbreak had had a dramatic effect upon all forms of the arts.  Music, venues have had to shut, galleries have closed their doors and even the Edinburgh Festival was postponed for this year.  To ensure the club maintained the tradition of an Annual Exhibition, for 2020 we took the exhibition online! In 2022 we were back in the town hall, however our online Gallery remains in place, so if you missed the in person exhibition, you can browse any unsold works.
