Programme of Events
From April to November each year the club holds a series of monthly evening meetings and monthly workshops on a Saturday. Subject to space, visitors are welcome to join both evening meetings and workshops.
We meet on the second Wednesday of April, May, June, September, October and November in the Invercarron Resource Centre Low Wood Road Stonehaven, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm when members and visitors can come along and see a demo by a practising artist, or a talk on an art-related topic, with visuals and usually plenty of questions. Tea / coffee is served and visitors are most welcome – £2.50

Workshops take place in the Upper Town Hall, Stonehaven
They run from 10am till 4pm with 1 hour for lunch
Booking must be made through the secretary. Costs are £30 pp
Priority is given to members but non members may fill any vacant places.

May 18th – Stephanie Vandem, a Brazilian born artist living in Aboyne “Clay Modelling from the Figure”
June 8th – Julie Smith, a semi abstract landscape artist from Ayrshire “Mixed Media techniques with a bit of silver, gold and copper leaf”
Sept 7th – Hazel Carnegie, a botanical artist from Aberdeen “Coloured Pencil Botanical drawing”
Nov 2nd – Mel Shand, gamekeepers wife, author and animal artist from Finzean, Banchory “The importance of Drawing”
The highlight of the club calendar is the Annual Exhibition. This year it will be held between Saturday 27th July 2019 to Sunday 5th August 2019 in the Upper Town Hall Stonehaven when over 100 paintings will be on show (many for sale).
Entrance is free and the Hall is open to the public, daily between 10am to 6pm.
